Summary Successor’s Promise ✓ eBook, ePUB or Kindle PDF ↠ The third book in the Millennium's Rule series by international bestseller Trudi CanavanFive years have passed since the Rebels confronted the Raen Five years in which the boy Rielle rescued all has safely grown up among the Travellers Five years in which TyenIdden from those who call him a traitor and the SpyFive years of chaos in the world barely contained by Baluka and the Restorers Worlds are at war some overrun by machines some drained of magic as sorcerers seek immortalityAs war threatens Rielle and Tyen's hard won peace and all comes of age. These books are really just one long jaunt through the patterns of logical thought in a magical world Character interaction is fairly limited; most of the books is played out in the two POV's heads and ultimately the thoughts of those they can read If I do A will B happen and what's the alternative how can I gain this how does this make me feel etc etc It also replicates the world within the book for the reader on the outside Most people's thoughts can be easily read by the main POV's and now we readers can read theirs We are now stronger in magic than all the characters bar one I'm a magician now Ma It's interesting to see how characters think rather than simply watching the conseuences of thought it can feel incredibly lonely through some stretches I do lament that the plot is uite limited so much time is spent in head thought that little actually happens I'm not sure how I feel about the sacrifice yet but I admire Canavan for doing it

InkvotaryUff I made it I don´t know why but I still can´t get warm with the author´s style Sure some of her very detailed scenes and thoughts were uite interesting and I enjoyed the first few chapters of this novel very much But then something changed There was a lot of traveling between the worlds a lot of thinking and guessing and the fast reading pace slowed very much down For me a bit too much There is no uestion that Trudi Canavan has a great fantasy and that she can create wonderful figures and scenes But at some point I got a bit frustrated and annoyed all turned out to be a hothead a young man who seems to be unwilling to respect women at all and who was reacting to pretty much everything Rielle asked of him with defiance Something I don´t like to seeThough after all I am at the moment at least not sure if I will read the fourth book of this series as well I still have some unanswered uestions remain in my mind But the last hundred pages were a real pain and after I gave this series and author a third shot I probably won´t give it a fourth Sorry

Trudi Canavan continues on a high note because this book was awesome as hell and while I'm somewhat disappointed that she couldn't leave it as a trilogy I'm also kind of glad that there's something to wait for in Tyen's and Rielle's worlds Yes worlds because those two sure do travel around a lot and there are than plenty of worlds with a lot of magic and a lot worlds with little magic and discoveries the characters make about themselves The only thing that detracted from my reading experience was my lack of time for reading I'm pretty sure I could've read it all in one go but I simply didn't have the time and therefore the plot felt kind of disjointed at times Sure it might have had something to do with the continued style of a couple of chapters from Tyen's POV and then a few from Rielle's and so on and only a short glimpse or two into the other's life during one's POVI'm left eagerly waiting for the next installation
