Ruth Clampett Õ 2 Summary

On fire Screw the no fraternizing policy Every time he gives me that smoldering look like he wants to butter my biscuit another pair of my panties meltThe plan was never to fall in love I’ve survived heartbreak so I'm no damsel in distress As the only woman in a suad of firefighters I’m fi. Review in English and PortugueseResenha em inglês e português ARC provided by Social Butterfly and the author Thank you45 “Shut up” stars lolIt's so nice when we finish a book with that feeling ya know That it was worth it That we wanted of that because it was so good That that time “lost” there sitting or lying in bed reading was well spentBURN is the second book in the UNTAMED series however can be read as a standalone I actually haven’t read the first book yet WET where Paul and Elle are the main characters However even not appearing that much I enjoyed both of these characters and now I have to fix this mistake and read itBURN focuses on Paul's sister's story Trisha She is the only woman working in a suad of firefighters married and lives a uiet life Until she catches her husband cheating on her making her world fall apart Now she has to learn how to live alone and wonders if someday she will love again Until she begins to size her coworker up The Lieutenant Joe MurphyI had never read anything of Ruth Clampett and I fell in love to her writing style I had only heard of one of her books “Animate Me” Despite the story of this book being a drama she could manage to add funny parts Starting with the personality of the main characterTrisha is strong She knows how to take care of herself She’s stubborn and very honest I laugh out loud with her with certain things she did or said And she had a huge heart Trisha works in this suad surrounded by men firefighters And that doesn’t intimidate her She is known as T Rex because she is spunky and don’t let them take her down “And what else did he tell you about me”“That most of the guys are scared of you” “Is that so”I ask He nods“And that’s why they call you T Rex” I roll my eyes“And all this time I thought it was because my arms are really short for my body”Even though we already have an idea of what will happen we root for the couple And when they finally get together we only want to watch all get hot No wonder the name of this book is BURN hahaI like the way they interacted What I wondered while reading for example Isn’t this going too fast the character gave me the answer The doubts I had the uestions about that relationship coincided with her doubts And this made me like it even Because without it things might seem obvious or too fastBURN is a nice book to read and exciting We are happy when they are and suffer with them too It is a great romance about having the opportunity of a second chance and leaving the heart open to recognize when this chance appearsI loved everything I loved the story I loved the characters Everything I highly recommend it ARC fornecido pela Social Butterfly e a autora Obrigada45 “cala a boca” estrelas rsrsÉ tão bom uando a gente termina um livro com essa sensação sabe De ue valeu a pena De ue ueria mais de tão bom ue auele tempo ali sentada ou deitada perdido lendo valeu a leituraBURN é o segundo livro da série UNTAMED entretanto pode ser lido sozinho Eu mesma não li o primeiro livro ainda o WET onde Paul e Elle são os principais Entretanto mesmo aparecendo pouco eu curti tanto esses personagens ue só resta corrigir esse meu erro BURN foca na história da irmã de Paul a Trisha Ela é a única mulher ue trabalha no pelotão de bombeiros casada e vive uma vida pacata Até ue ela pega seu marido a traindo fazendo seu mundo cair Agora ela tem ue aprender a viver sozinha e se uestiona se algum dia irá amar novamente Até ue ela começa a reparar no seu colega de trabalho O tenente Joe Murphy Nunca havia lido nada da Ruth Clampett e amei o seu estilo de escrita Só tinha ouvido falar de um livro seu o Animate Me ue foi lançado no Brasil pela editora nVersos Apesar da história desse livro ser um drama ela conseguiu inserir na história partes engraçadas Começando com a personalidade da personagem principalA Trisha é forte Sabe se virar sozinha É teimosa e muito sincera Chorei de rir com ela Com certas coisas ue ela fez ou disse E ela tinha um coração enorme Trisha trabalha no esuadrão de bombeiros rodeada de homens E isso não a intimida Ela é conhecida como T Rex por ser brava e não levar desaforo pra casa “E o ue mais ele falou sobre mim”“ue a maioria dos caras tem medo de você” “É mesmo” eu perguntei Ele consentiu “E é por isso ue eles chamam você de T Rex” Eu revirei os olhos “E todo esse tempo eu achando ue era porue meus braços eram muito peuenos para meu corpo” Apesar da gente já ter noção do ue vai acontecer torcemos pelo casal E uando eles finalmente ficam juntos só ueremos ver pegar fogo Não é a toa ue o nome desse livro é BURN – ueimarIncendiar haha Curti muito a interação dos dois O ue eu várias me perguntei como por exemplo “será ue não tá indo muito rápido” a personagem mesmo respondia As duvidas ue eu tinha os uestionamentos sobre esse relacionamento coincidiram com as da personagem O ue me fez gostar mais ainda Porue sem isso certas coisas poderiam parecer obvias ou rápidas demais BURN é um livro gostoso de ler apaixonante A gente vibra com os personagens e sofre com eles também É um ótimo romance sobre ter a oportunidade de uma segunda chance e de deixar o coração aberto pra reconhecer uando ela aparecerEu amei tudo Amei a história Amei os personagens Tudo Super recomendo Pick a Book facebook instagram Twitterpbrespondegmailcom

Burn Author Ruth ClampeErce fearless and I get the job doneYet despite all the rules I’m sizzling for Joe and that’s one fire I don’t want to put out It’s a complicated situation A hot and wild situation When things spiral out of control should I fight for the new life I was trying to build or just let it bur. “Sometimes we have to be our own hero Joe” Burn was our first Ruth Clampett experience and we think we’ve fallen in love with this authors writing style Although this story deals with some pretty hard hitting issues the author chose to tell her story in of a light hearted way interspersing the heavy painful moments with witty banter and internal dialogue as told through the eyes of a gutsy heroine who’s found success in what is still uite essentially a male dominated area and she’s a woman who’s not afraid to speak her mind and who very much wears her heart on her sleeve “I’m sorry I’ not easy”“I don’t want easy I want real You are real I want you” Because of her brashness the author could have easily made Trisha a little hard for readers to connect with but this wasn’t the case at all Whilst Trisha may have been one plucky bird she also had a cracking sense of humour and despite her fierceness she showed a sensitive soft side that was explored and as the story progressed ensuring we connected and related to her so well done Ruth “I think I’m finally seeing the soft side of you sweetheart” As Trisha’s layers were peeled away we began to expose the reason for her ballsy honest attitude which didn’t only lie in the fact that she’d succeeded and flourished in her dangerous chosen profession but also from her present and past issues No wonder Joe was so attracted to her “Joe do you even begin to understand how strong and tough I am”“It’s okay to be soft once in a while you know” After finding her husband Mike in the throes of passion with another man Trisha comes to the painful realisation that her marriage has been a lie and is understandably devastated The friendship of Joe Murphy her Lieutenant at fire station who is suddenly everywhere provides a lifeline in her time of need not to mention the her attraction to this strong masculine gorgeous manJoe Murphy also has past relationship experience that has left him gun shy and we really felt for this man and what he had gone through He better than anyone can appreciate the pain confusion and emotional turmoil Trisha is going through and he’s not adverse to his feelings towards her either “You’re a good woman Trisha”“And you’re a good man” Ruth Clampett threw us head first into the dangerous world of these heroes we sometimes take for granted To Joe and Trisha this wasn’t a mere job They risked their lives daily out of passion and an intense desire to make a difference and it’s a feeling we experienced firsthand with Ruth’s handling of this story which at one point had our hearts in our mouths with gripping excitement and dread It was a heart pounding moment that’s for sure “Even the strongest people need help sometimes” Burn was one of those stories that was easy to read and that isn’t said in a derogatory way at all In fact it’s the opposite as we know the stories that feel easy to the reader are sometimes the hardest to write This story of of hurt love second chances and of opening and trusting your heart again could have been a heart wrenching painful story to read however Ruth chose to lighten the load for the reader so whilst we did experience the emotion of the story it felt like a light read as wellCome visit and follow us at✲ TotallybookedBlog✲ TB on Facebook✲ TB on Twitter✲ TB on Pinterest
