Deep snow in New Jersey is almost enough to obscure the body of a teen girl Chasing her runaway dog a caterer comes across the bodyOur protagonist provides what sounds like great food to a film set Baked salmon salad plates roast lamb with rosemary and garlic roast potatoes Getting stopped at four in the morning by a policewoman determined to prove that she's driving to work drunk doesn't help while the publicity attached to filming and catastrophes like a star actress being run over don't help The writing is at times very realistic and absorbing We see the work behind the glamour And we try to figure out why the dead girl sent away for a DNA test and who killed herI spotted one of my pet peeves 'she discretely removed her gun' when this should read discreetlyI was sent an e ARC by Fresh Fiction This is an unbiased review

I enjoyed it very muchThe story was very good Penelope is just starting a new business and her new friend Arlena is trying to help her out She tells Penny that she can come and live with her in her big house in Glendale NJ Penny can start her business with Arlena's help and not have to pay rent She will be working on the movie that Arlena is working on so they will have the same schedulesIt looks like everything will be working out for both of them Everything seems to be going ok until a dead body is found on their front lawn in the snow Once the body is identified things start to fall apartThe book is very good and keeps everyone's attention until the killer is identified at the end of the book I would recommend the book to all my friends and family It is well worth your time to read it
