Zombie Seed is a fast paced series that delivers on everything you expect from the genre while throwing in exciting twists that you. I don't like zombies or gardening I also hated Plants Vs ZombiesWait is the seed in the title about you know

characters Zombie Seed

Zombie SeedLandscape Prepare yourself for a compelling story filled with action and enough suspense to keep you reading all the way to the end. An interesting take Zombie Seed takes the well worn genre of zombie stories and gives us a uniue story that is exciting and different There is a good dose of eroticism added to the story I enjoyed this as most zombie stories do not have this element You would think if your life is threatened constantly you would want to be sexy when the situation allows The story also introduces a group of zombies who can think and plan I really enjoyed this It added a level of fear to the story The action and pace in this story was uite good and the main character is realistic I definitely want to learn about her The issues of procreation in an apocalypse is also touched on I look forward to what happens as the series continues The book is short and I was left wanting I look forward to the next book in this series

Zombie Seedby PM BarnesAs Zombie Guru Emeritus it is rare that I see anything new these days in the wonderfully putrefied world of reanimation but when I DO it is usually profound There have been a few authors lately that have stepped up to the plate admirably and re envisioned not only the ZomPoc but the zombies themselves One such author is PM Barnes author of the wildly entrancing 'Zombie Seed' book series Her characterization and inner depiction of the evolution of the reanimant goes FAR beyond anything ever conceived by the Zedfather Romero himself and takes you on an engrossing pun partially intended guided tour through not merely the physical mutations but also the psychological and emotional ramifications of finding yourself among the ranks of the undead as you follow her characters through their undead journey The specifically differing metamorphoses undergone by each character over the course of the book are uniue to the individual rather than the 'cookie cutter' approach taken by so many writers in books and movies of late As a case in point and to give you a flavor of the writing style of Ms Barnes meet Bruce“Back when the shit first hit the fan he had been bitten that much was as clear as the healed over set of teeth marks on his arm After that everything was a blur he remembered feeding and feeding slabs of non descript meat and darkness and then he was awake That is the best way he could describe what it was like One minute there was nothing other than the desire to feed and then he was himself again Well as close to himself as he imagined he would ever get to be Those first few days after his “awakening” he fought an internal battle about what he had become and he had stopped eating The screams and the terror filled looks in the eyes of the prey were too much for him to bear And what of when he found Claire and their child could he look her in the eyes knowing he was a monsterBut he had paid for that lapse into morality The first day of not feeding was like nothing the hunger was there but easily manageable and he didn't note any real changes By the fourth day he found that the smell of sweat coming off the hidden huddled masses of the living was so tantalizing he had to suppress the urge to run full tilt into their mist and eat them all The sixth day is what broke him He “came to” and found himself wandering en mass with the other z’s making that low moaning sound they were famous for and he knew that if he didn't eat he would lose himself again”Within these few short paragraphs you have been introduced to the essence of his character giving you all the reason that you need to care about what happens to him and meeting Claire and Billy leave you similarly attached to them as well These characterizations combined with the deeply layered imagery and storyline combine to weave a web that will not only keep you in thrall they will leave you with an almost palpable desire to be bittenI eagerly await the next book in the seriesSkot PiersonZombie Guru EmeritusZombiepalooza Radiohttpwwwlivestreamcomzombiepaloohttpswwwfacebookcomzombieguru
