Don't become so focused on what you've lost that you don't see what you still haveLet me start this review by saying I am not a paranormal reader Besides Twilight yes I know and a few PNR books here and there this just isn't my go to genre I feel like that is all about to change thanks to Lisa Olsen When Lisa contacted me to see if I wanted to read Moonsong I went in with an open mind At first I was afraid that everything would just feel fake or there'd be terms that I wouldn't understand Honestly Once I was able to sit down and really start reading I couldn't put it down The story pulled me in and Lisa's writing I can't say enough good things 'And there was nothing between them but a cushion of space that sparked with a current of excitement'This novel has a little of everything There were times when I felt the butterflies right along with Millie Other times I couldn't help but laugh loved the 'Say Anything' reference There was just enough steamy parts without being over the top There is a love triangle which can easily be hit or miss if not done correctly Lisa did a great job of keeping you vested in it As the story progresses you know who Millie should end up with The problem is her grandmother has other plans They say that when you mate you mate for life Will Millie choose her mate based on what's best for the family Or will she choose based on what her heart tells herThank you Lisa Olsen for pulling me out of comfort zone and delivering a story that has opened my eyes to a new genre
