Father he finds ways to amuse himself Winter whistens and glistens the world in frost whizzles and whittles ice sculptures and snizzes and snips snowflakes At last Father Time turns his full attention to his son and they frisk and fro. Now we've read all four of the seasons books in this series but I have mixed feelings about this one The art and poetry again are beautiful but I didn't like that the appearance of the Father was accompanied by him not having time for his son This was resolved with a sweet scene at the ending but strangely it was tied to avoiding responsibility I would think Father Time's biggest responsibility would be bringing in the new year and that's what he's going to abandon for his kid What kind of lesson is that and what the heck was he doing all the other time
